Born in Kannapolis, NC, but grew up in Stanly County. I started playing soccer in 1994, right before the World Cup, and truly caught soccer fever. Charlotte landing an MLS team has indeed been a dream come true, something I never imagined would happen. I even went out a few days after the Team name announcement at got “CLTFC” tattooed on my forearm. Before joining Mint City Collective, I had no real sincere interest in joining a supporter's group. However, I  started to see what MCC was all about and was impressed with how well organized it was. More importantly, I saw the potential of what it could be, not just to Charlotte FC but to the whole community. I want people to see just what a great group we have here and I hope that people from all backgrounds and soccer IQ will want to come along on this journey with us.

I am originally from the Chicagoland area and started playing soccer when I was only 3 years old. I grew up going to Chicago Fire matches and loved the drums, chanting, and emotion throughout the Supporters Section at every match that makes Soccer such a unique sport. This grew my love to the beautiful game even more, and created many friendships because of it. In 2016, I relocated to Charlotte due to work. I looked up the highest division soccer team at the time (Charlotte Independence) and grew a connection with this team since moving here. I knew the long term goal was to hopefully get this team promoted to MLS or a MLS team expansion in the near future. I went to the original MLS2CLT push in 2017 with hopes that Marcus Smith could land Charlotte a team. (Un)fortunately, that bid failed and was hopeful a different option would appear. Later in July 2019, I joined Mint City Collective after attending a MLS All-Star watch party at Courtyard Hooligans with renewed hope that MLS will arrive in Charlotte soon. That dream finally came true in December 2019. I now finally have a sports team to call my own here in Charlotte and be able to grow from the ground up with! I was elected as the first ever IT Director for Mint City Collective and hope to set a great foundation for the best Supporters group in the MLS!

I was born and raised in Charlotte, but have been living in Mooresville for the last 14 years. I loved throwing tailgate parties and away trips for you all last season so I'm honored I was voted in to run it back. I'm a big fan of all Charlotte and North Carolina pro-sports, evidenced by the 3 Charlotte pro-teams as a permanent part of my right arm. In addition to Mint City Collective, I'm a long time Roaring Riot (Carolina Panthers supporters group) member and leader of the Lake Norman Chapter. Looking forward to continue creating an awesome tailgating experience.

Born and raised in Gastonia and moved to Charlotte a decade ago. Been in and around the soccer world since playing as a 3 year old at the local Y. Prior to CLTFC, I had been actively attending Independence games. When MLS was announced, I was ready. I joined MCC back in 2019 and the past 4-5 years has been a whirlwind. At the beginning of the innagural season, I got the chance to lead the Tifo team and.. well.. you know how that went. I was amazed by the comradery of the local fanbase to come together to put out amazing tifos. Stepping away from 2 years of leading that effort, I wanted to focus on MCC. Hoping to see where we can take this and welcoming all to this great community.

Community & Outreach Director - Matt Nolan

I moved to Charlotte at the end of 2021 (originally Michigan, with stops in Chicago and Shanghai along the way), and buying season tickets for Charlotte FC and joining the Mint City Collective have been a huge part of what has made Charlotte rapidly become home for me. I've joined tailgates, watch parties, the gala and other MCC events, and fundraised significantly for MCC's Light the Night fundraiser in 2023. As MCC's Community Outreach Director, I see the opportunity to grow and connect the MCC community, Charlotte FC fandom, and the Charlotte community as a whole - each things that I am passionate about. Please reach out to me with your ideas for things through which we can come together, and come say hi when you see me around!

Being from England soccer/ football is in my blood. I’ve lived in Charlotte for 6 years now and my wife is a native Charlottean so I was excited for the opportunity to support CLTFC and get involved with MCC.

I grew up a Fulham fan in England so I’m hoping I can finally get behind a team that wins occasionally! I’ve followed Fulham through the divisions in England seeing them play in around 50-60 stadiums from 1992 onwards and a few European stadiums too.
Outside of soccer I am a proud dad of 3 kids (Elizabeth, Will and Sam), husband to a woman much smarter than I am (Erin) and 2 dogs. My day job is Marketing Director here in Charlotte for EchoPark Automotive. And I live in the Belmont neighborhood close to uptown.
I love the discussions and good times I have with MCC members and my goal is to help us create a group that is passionate about soccer, Charlotte, and welcoming to all regardless of background or level of soccer knowledge.

Katey Dietz

A native of Rochester, NY, Katey Dietz has called Charlotte home since 1999. A life-long soccer fan (rumor has it she spent her college book money on season tickets to D.C. United in 1996) and former Queen City Outlaws board member, she balances her passion for the soccer with her day job managing partnerships at NASCAR. Though her heart is always with Charlotte FC and Brighton & Hove Albion, when she’s not at CLTFC games and MCC events, you can find her hosting soccer meetups at NASCAR races, taking long hikes, or baking bread.

Seth Wiese

I was born and raised in Monroe, NC. My love of soccer started when my mom signed me up for a rec league when I was in kindergarten and I played throughout high school. While playing in elementary school, I started following the USMNT, which led me to follow Manchester United since Tim Howard played there at the time. I didn’t start following MLS until CLTFC was announced and put down a deposit for PSLs the day they were available. Before joining Mint City Collective, I didn’t know what the concept of a supporters group was. The topic came up while talking to a friend about the team signing a fellow Niner and they suggested joining Mint City Collective. I signed up that night and have been involved ever since.
