Code Of Conduct

MINT CITY COLLECTIVE CODE OF CONDUCT

“The Collective Act”

As a member of the Mint City Collective, you are a part of the largest group of Charlotte FC supporters - and you’re part of the family.  We strive to support the team in all of its endeavors, provide an unparalleled experience at each of the team’s contests, and to sing, cheer, chant, and support with vigor, passion and, most of all, respect.

As a part of the family, your behavior, attitude, and actions are a reflection of Mint City Collective, Charlotte, Charlotte FC and its fans.  Whether you are in Bank of America Stadium, participating in a chapter watch-party or engaging in social media discussions it is your duty to conduct yourself in a courteous and polite fashion at all times.

Being a fan is about demonstrating your passion and love for Charlotte FC, and we should always strive to give the team a competitive edge.  We can achieve that goal by holding ourselves, our guests and all Charlotte FC supporters’ groups to the following standards.

    • Whether at home or away, cheer, sing, chant as loudly as possible. Be extra loud at all times, for the full 90 minutes. It is important to make other clubs feel our presence, and equally important to have the boys in blue know we are behind them.
    • Promote respect and integrity with your words and actions. Never act in an outwardly negative or aggressive manner toward opposing fans, as they have the right to cheer for their team as well. When in a disagreement with fellow CFC fans, remember that it is okay to disagree and walk away. Be the example.
    • Welcome anyone seeking a better way of life by encouraging them to become a Mint City Collective member. Grow the fan base. Bring our community together. Strengthen our voice.
    • If you have tickets you cannot use, make sure they go to fellow Charlotte FC fans. Selling them to fans of the opposing team hurts our team’s competitive edge and compromises the safety and integrity of the supporters’ section. Tickets that you are passing along need to be awarded to our own brothers and sisters.
  • Any form of discrimination, homophobia, racism, or sexism has no place in Mint City Collective and will not be tolerated.

  • While we have five standards, we only have one rule: HAVE FUN, BE A GOOD PERSON!

We strive to ensure that the Mint City Collective is second to none.  MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER, as well as all of its franchise teams, exists as a form of entertainment. The Mint City Collective aims to elevate that entertainment to the next level for Charlotte FC fans. The only steadfast rule is to have fun!

Your participation in the Mint City Collective and adherence to the Collective Act is greatly appreciated!
